Not for the first time, composer Vilija Mažintaitė and lyricist Birutė Pernaravičiūtė present a new project - "Oratorio for Joy, Hope and Light". The oratorio covers the entire dark season, the anticipation of the sun and light, and reflects the customs and traditions of Lithuanian festivals - Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year, Three Kings Day, Three Kings Day, Midsummer, the Kaziukas Fair, the Spring Equinox - from ancient times to the present. The project uniquely combines the English language, the dialects of various Lithuanian regions and authentic Lithuanian song harmonies.
