Serious jazz lovers are in for a very exciting event. For one night only, the famous Latvian musicians Deniss Pashkevich (saxophones) and Kaspars Rolštein (bass guitar) are coming to Vilnius to play together with Arkady Gotesman (percussion) at the Music Magic Club.
This trio is best represented by the recording, which probably needs no commentary.
Arkadijus Gotesmanas is a well-known Lithuanian jazz grandmaster, composer, one of the most prominent masters of contemporary improvisational music, participating in many artistic projects and creating many of the projects himself.
Kaspars Rolšteins is a musician, composer, experimentalist, focusing a lot on electronic music. He has been involved in a wide variety of projects, including the creation of the opera Rolstein on the Beach and the release of various albums together with other musicians. One of his best-known works is the double vinyl "Stockholm Sindroms".
Deniss Pashkevich ( https://www.denisspashkevich.com/ ) is one of the most recognized jazz leaders in the Baltic States. He is not only a saxophonist, but also a flautist, composer, producer, and founder and teacher of the private jazz school Performing Arts School. Deniss has released over ten albums and has been involved in the recording of around 50. His collaboration with Vyacheslav Ganelin and Arkady Gotesman has brought him special recognition - their 2 LP album "Variations" was included in the top ranking of the 2019 Downbeat Jazz Awards **** .
Denis believes that "music gives people the freedom to think and express their true personality". This is definitely an exceptional event for the guests of the Music Magic Club.
