Salčininkai starlet IVONA ŠULC
learned to play the piano at the age of 6, and at the age of 9 she played with an orchestra for the first time. Ivona has been awarded a letter of appreciation and a medal from the Mayor of Šalčininkai District for promoting the name of Šalčininkai District in the field of art. On 18 February 2024, she participated in the National Balys Dvarionas Competition and won the title of laureate, as well as a special prize for the best performance of a work by a contemporary composer.
Klaipeda's Wind - ARONAS RUMINAS
started studying in the piano class of teacher Valdonė Kučinskienė of the Klaipėda Eduardas Balsis Arts Gymnasium at the age of 7 years. Already from the second grade he started to take part in international master classes, and today his biography includes 16 wins of republican and international competitions.The boy is very friendly, sociable and loves to perform.
Kauno ugnis - MILDA MARIJA KIŠKŪNAITĖ
He started to play the piano at age 5. Her musical path began in Šiauliai "Juventos" pro-gymnasium with her mother, teacher Aušrina Kiškūnienė. Already from the 1st grade Milda Marija started to participate in many republican and international competitions and became a laureate of many competitions. Her most recent achievements include winning 1st prize at the International Music Competition "Music without Borders" and the Special Prize for a particularly talented participant at the International Liszt Competition for Young Pianists in Weimar. Currently Milda Marija Kiškūnaitė is studying at Kaunas Juozas Gruodis Conservatoire in the class of Motiejus Bazaras.
Druskininkai Waltz Lord - AUGUSTAS NAVICKAS
graduated from Druskininkai M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art under the guidance of Nona Kalvaitienė and is currently continuing his studies at the J. Tallat-Kelpša Conservatoire under the guidance of Professor Roks Zubovas.
Pride of Vilnius - SIMONAS POŠKA
In 2023, at the 9th International Čiurlionis Piano Competition, he was awarded the 2nd prize and a special prize awarded to the highest-placed Lithuanian. Simonas Poška studied at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts from 2008 to 2020 with his teacher Eglė Jurkevičiūtė-Navickienė, and from 2020 he will study at the Hanover University of Music, Theatre and Media, in the piano class of Prof. Roland Krüger. Simonas was awarded by the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė for promoting the name of Lithuania in international competitions, and the Vilnius City Municipality awarded the pianist with the Little St. John of God Award.
The Catcher of the Sparks - GUODA GEDVILAITĖ
The Vilnius City Municipality and the Board of the Vilnius Town Hall gave Guoda Gedvilaite the responsibility and honour of selecting a concert piano for the Town Hall. Not only is the hall now adorned with a world-class concert grand piano, but Guoda was able to realise her dream - her first festival, which she named with honour - the Vilnius Town Hall Music Festival, and the playful "The Play of the Sparkles". For the second year now, the festival invites Vilnius residents to special youthful encounters and fills the Town Hall with new ideas and magical musical sounds.
Guoda took her first musical steps at the Druskininkai Music School. Her first teacher Olga Skairienė taught her how to know music, while professor Veronika Vitaitė taught her how to love, understand and perform music at the M.K.Čiurlionis Arts Gymnasium and at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius. According to the professor, "Guoda was characterised by her extraordinary diligence, obedience, receptivity, courtesy, dedication to her specialty and the harmony of a calling from above. Guoda was born to play". Since 2002, the Lithuanian Clara Schumann has been teaching at the Higher School of Music in Frankfurt am Main, where she has studied and given international masterclasses in Lithuania and Germany.
