With renewed hope, on the Second Sunday of St. On the second day of Easter, the forty-first Resurrexit Festival will open with a concert by AR's Musica.
AR's Musica was formed in 2018 on the initiative of flutist Andrius Radziukyns, with the aim of bringing harmony, light, the joy of life, and the uplifting of the art of music to the listeners. The chamber ensemble of professional musicians opened the thirty-eighth festival five years ago with a concert, but the ensemble performs in a variety of ensembles, so each time the programme sounds different. This time the audience will hear a duo of long-standing stage partners: the friendship between the artistic director of the ensemble, Andrius Radziukynas, and the clarinettist, Roger Arve Vigulf, began more than a decade ago, when the two met and began playing during the Land of the Disobedient festival. Together they also recorded a CD of flute and clarinet, a rather unusual duo. "In the opening concert of the Resurrexit Festival, the soloists and the string quartet will perform works from different eras, from the classical to the contemporary, revealing the beauty of the music, the intricate structure and the technicality of the playing.
