Directed by dancer and choreographer David Gutiérrez, The Tempest of Love (a cut-down version of Luxurîa) is the third work of its creator. He has previously staged the dance performances "New Flamenco Time" and "Flamenco Reborn", which have been presented to great acclaim on Spanish and international stages. In his latest artistic project, the choreographer combines elements of traditional flamenco and contemporary dance. The performance of the Spanish artists is sure to captivate audiences.

Throughout its history, the Barcelona Flamenco Ballet (BFB) has sought to highlight social issues. "The Storm of Love celebrates the personality of women and their role in dance. The plot is dominated by sensuality and painful experiences, which are a continuous thread leading up to the present day. As you watch this theatrical story, you are likely to recognise not only the people you meet in your life, but also yourself.

The protagonist is a man facing inner contradictions. When he meets the love of his life, he realises that it will not be easy to love her, because she is a fatalistic woman - rebellious, strong and independent. To share her or to lose her? All or nothing. Love or fleeting pleasure?
