Pianist Mūza Rubackytė and the winners of the Lisztofonia competition at Paliesius Manor! In 2017, the pianists' competition "Lisztofonija" was held for the first time. It is a competition for Lithuanian pianists initiated by the Lithuanian Ferenc Liszt Association "LiSZtuania" together with the piano department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (LMTA), the aim of which is to encourage Lithuanian pianists to perform, record and deepen their knowledge of F. Liszt's works. The competition, organized for the third time, is a professional help for a pianist who is starting the path of an artist in preparing an audio and video recording, the main means of presentation in the world. Mūza Rubackytė, patron of the Lisztofonia pianists' competition and laureate of the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Prize, started her career as a pianist at the age of seven: she made her debut in the Great Hall of the Lithuanian National Philharmonic playing Haydn's Concerto in D major conducted by Saulis Sondeckis. He studied at the Lithuanian Conservatory (now the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, LMTA) and the Moscow State P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
The victory of the Lithuanian pianist currently living in Vilnius, Paris and Geneva at the prestigious international Liszt-Bartók piano competition in Budapest (1981) was the first recognition of a Lithuanian pianist on the international stage after a 50-year break (S.
