contemPLAY is a festival/workshop of contemporary academic music organised by the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in cooperation with LENsemble (Lithuanian Ensemble Network) and Improdimensija. The festival focuses on new instrumental, electronic and improvisational music and their interaction. The list of participating guests in 2024 includes teachers and students from the Royal and Maastricht Conservatories in Antwerp, the Cologne and Mannheim Higher School of Music, the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, the Tallinn Academy of Music, and other prestigious European music schools.
