Dominykas Vyšniauskas - although he rarely plays in Lithuania, is well known to jazz lovers in Latvia, as he plays in the most famous Latvian radio big band and is the main soloist of the internationally acclaimed group. Dmitrijs Golovanovs needs no introduction to our audience, he is well known to our regulars and is undoubtedly one of the brightest and most interesting jazz pianists of today.
Latvian performers are certainly not inferior to their Lithuanian counterparts in terms of level and taste. Double bassist Edvins Ozols and drummer Ivars Arutunyans are two of the busiest representatives of the Latvian jazz scene. Together with Dominyks, they have been performing for many years and have managed to win the hearts of the visitors of Jazz Cellar 11. So for those who love jazz classics and good and refined taste, this will be a truly memorable evening.
