Scenic Arts Alumni Festival "LIFE 2.

The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LAMT) presents a unique performing arts alumni festival
"Life 2.0". The festival is dedicated to presenting the works and performances of young LMTA artists on a professional stage and will last until October.
The first opening concert of the festival, IXOJI, is a duet of Pijus Džiugas Meiķis and Rakelė Chijenaitė, who first appeared in the cozy light of a dimly-lit stage in 2024. Deeply inspired by classical and electronic ambient music, the duo merged their creative paths and released their debut album "TRAXEDIA" in 2024. This album is a true electro-acoustic epiphany of musical drama that surprises even the long-time listeners of Pijus Džiugas Meiis and undoubtedly captivates everyone. He was also nominated as the Best Composer of 2022 at the Silver Crane Awards for his music for the film "Synephilia" (directed by A. Puipa). She is a laureate of numerous competitions and a former member of the Vilnius St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra.

Ignas Šoliūnas is a composer of electroacoustic music, focusing his work on the fields of drones, contemporary and improvisational music. His music aims to transport the listener to a state of weightlessness and lightness, inviting them to forget about the weight of their body and thoughts. The album "Erase for Prosperity?" will be released in 2025 and will be accompanied by a vinyl record. In 2024, an audiovisual dance performance based on the music of this album was also created thanks to Bloom Theory Theatre, a contemporary interdisciplinary theatre.

18:30 - doors
19:00 - Ignas Šoliūnas and improvisation for magnetic tape.
19:30 - IXOJI - "TRAXEDIA"
