The play is full of wisdom. The smallest one, Grandpa and Grandma's Cow, brings the big ones to their senses and makes them think.
One day, when they no longer have anything to feed the Cow, Bobby and Grandpa give her away to a strange beggar. The old people have no choice but to give the old man a real scammer, who takes advantage of this to deceive them. But the tale is not, of course, about a bad deal. It's about poor Karvute, who only gets to speak at the end of the play.
