The Gesualdo Six ensemble is coming to Lithuania for the first time - one of the strongest British vocal groups, continuing the tradition of male choirs singing a cappella (without accompaniment). Critics praise him for his ingeniously composed concert programs and impeccable performance: "the sound seems to float in the air until it reaches the ears of the enthralled audience... Every line, every wonderful texture was dazzlingly clear" (The Times).

"When we first got together to rehearse, I felt like something clicked and I don't think we've looked back since!" A special feeling of common involvement in the music, interwoven with a great pleasure of communication, led to this ensemble embarking on an interesting journey together," says the ensemble leader.
The Gesualdo Six have performed at many major festivals in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia. Highlights include a concert in the famous Deutschlandradio debut series, a debut at the Wigmore Hall in 2021, collaborations with famous musicians: Brodsky Quartet, London Mozart Players, Luxmural, William Barton, Matilda Lloyd and others. The ensemble's discography includes five CDs that received the highest ratings. Important areas of the ensemble's activities are workshops for young musicians and composers, two composition competitions were held, the second of which was attended by more than three hundred composers from all over the world.
