On 6 July in Druskininkai church will be a special concert "La Suave Melodia" (Nerijus Masevičius (bass-baritone), Teodoras Lipčius (discant, cello), Saulius S.

"La Suave Melodia" is a programme of an unusual trio, mainly featuring hymns, songs, arias, duets and instrumental music from the Renaissance and Baroque era. Listeners will hear music by J. Dowland, G. F. Handel, A. Falconieri and even the music of the LDK of that time. This music is characterised by its sophistication, splendour and extraordinary variety of genres, which is perhaps best expressed in a church space, taking advantage of the authentic acoustics.
