The epigraph of Pavlo Arje's play "At the beginning and end of time" reads - "for those who could not leave". It's a drama about a man who has lived his whole life where he was told to leave. The action of the play takes place in an abandoned village near the Pripet River, in the exclusion zone around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. For us, it is a dangerous radioactive zone, and for Baba Prisia, it is the only home we have and the only real home. The only and last ones.
