In 1981-1985, he studied at the Lithuanian State Conservatory (course director - Jonas Vaitkus), graduated and obtained a specialty in acting.

In 1985-1989, he worked at the Kaunas State Academic Drama Theatre.
Since 1989, he has been working at the Lithuanian State Academic Drama Theater (now the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre).
