Soprano Kseniya Bakhritdinova-Kravchuk graduated from the Lviv Conservatoire, where she received two diplomas - as a pianist and opera singer. She has worked as a soloist at the Mykola Lysenko Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Kharkiv, where she has prepared ten principal soprano roles, and in 2016 she was invited to join the Ukrainian National Opera. In 2022, after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, Xenia and her three-year-old daughter found refuge in Lithuania, where she immediately became active. Together with pianist Raminta Gocentiene, she prepared a number of programmes and organised charity concerts in Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda. In cooperation with the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, Xenia prepared the role of Aida in Verdi's opera Aida. In October 2023, the singer's talent shone through in the premiere performance, earning the recognition and love of the audience. Xenia comes to the Art of Song Festival from Kyiv, where she returned to live and work as a soloist with the Ukrainian National Opera.
Pianist Viktoria Shvets received her musical education at the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, in the class of Prof. Olga Liforenko. Since 2012 she has been working at the Academy as a concertmaster of the solo singing department. The pianist actively performs both solo and with the orchestras of Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Chernivtsi Philharmonic Orchestras, accompanies singers, violinists and cellists, and is a prize-winner of many Ukrainian and international competitions. Victoria and Xenia have a long-standing creative friendship and have worked together on a number of concert programmes. Viktoria comes to the Art of Song Festival from Switzerland, where she fled after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
Trombonist Dmytro Kravchuk graduated from the Lviv Mykola Lysenko Academy of Music under the direction of Prof. O. M. Lysysenko studied with M. Saveliev. He did his internship at the National Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine (2022-2023) with Prof. F. Kryzhanivskyi, and from 2023 he is pursuing his Doctor of Arts degree. Since 2015, the trombonist has been working in various orchestras in the country, currently with the Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra. With the joint Austrian-Ukrainian Symphony Orchestra Da capo, he has toured abroad as principal trombone in Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, Italy, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.
