To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Théâtre du Corps, the two choreographers Marie-Claude Pietragalla and Julien Derouault have combined the best of their repertoire with a new work Metamorphoses. Over two decades, these two masters of dance have created a unique repertoire in which bodies become mute narrators. All of these choreographies reflect a continuous search for inner truth, exploring the deepest and most complex human emotions. This performance is a living testimony to the history of the company, 20 years of work, research, innovation and intense artistic and human encounters. "Théâtre du Corps is now a benchmark where its performers, dancers/actors, go beyond traditional dance to create a new and unprecedented body language. This new generation of body theatre artists masterfully explores the great universal themes of love, passion, loneliness, cruelty and the relentless passage of time. "Metamorphoses invites the audience to immerse themselves in an emotional and artistic journey in which Marie-Claude Pietragalla and Julien Derouault express a vision of dance in which movement transcends words, creating a visceral theatrical experience that has resonated deeply for 20 years.
