DAVID AKOPIAN (violin) - Prof. of Tbilisi State Conservatory, Tbilisi. Graduated from the Tbilisi State Conservatoire of Music. He studied at master classes of famous teachers - L. Isakadze, L. Luca, J. Gilman, T. Polozova, H. Hochschild and others. He has given solo concerts as a member of the Vardeli String Quartet and the Symphony Orchestra at festivals in Germany, Italy, Poland, the Baltic States, Malta, etc. He has participated in projects such as the Internationale Junge Orchesterakademie (Pleystein, Germany, 2018), the Summer Music Academy at Hundisburg Castle (Germany, 2019), the Malta Chamber Music Competition-Festival (2020), the Night Serenades 2019-2021, the Tsinandali Festival - one of the largest classical music festivals in the world (2022, Tsinandali, Sakhkartveld, Sakhkartveld). In 2021-2023 he participated in the projects of the festival "Pokrovo zvpai" by Lithuanian composers World Music - "Orero" by J. Jasinski and "Spell" by M. Stumbras at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic and Tbilisi State Conservatory. For the last three years David Akopian has been the concertmaster of the Kancheli Youth Orchestra, as well as the Orchestra of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Sakartveli Philharmonic.
MILENA JALALALBEKOVA (violin) - a graduate of the State Conservatory of Tbilisi, laureate of the national and international competitions and festivals: 2010 and 2011.Winner of the 1st prize at the Festival-Competition "School of Arts" in 2010, 2011 and 2010; winner of the prize for excellent performance at the Georgian Frescos Festival; winner of the 3rd National Classical Music Competition "Art Academy" and the diploma for the best performance of Mozart; winner of the Diploma for the best performance of Mozart in 2013. Winner of the 1st prize at the following festivals and competitions: "German music", "Under the One Sky" and "The Music of the XX century", where she was also awarded the prize for the best interpretation and performance of Alexi Matchavariani. Since 2019, first violin in the Tbilisi Youth Orchestra of G. Kancheli. In 2022 - soloist of the Tsinandali Youth Orchestra and the Tbilisi Opera Orchestra.
MARIKA KUKHIANIDZE (piano) - laureate of national and international competitions and festivals: in 2011 - 1st Prize at the International Competition Golden Taste (Germany); in 2012 - 1st Prize at the Competition of Young Performers Art Academy; in 2013 - 1st Prize at the International Competition of N. - In 2018 - took part in the festival dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Tbilisi State Conservatory and became the laureate of the Chopin Competition for Young Performers. In 2021 - enrolled in the Tbilisi State Conservatory of Van Sarajishvili, class of E. Rusishvili. She has participated in several masterclasses at the International Ellis Virsaladze Festival in Tel Aviv. From 2022 he will continue his studies in Finland at the Sibelius Academy, Helsinki University of the Arts.
GIORGI GURGENADZE (cello) is a prize-winner of national and international competitions and festivals. He has been an active performer since childhood and continues as a student at the Tbilisi State Conservatory. In 2022 he moved to Glasgow as an Erasmus+ exchange student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to study with Martin Storey. He has been involved in various projects, including Grit Orchestra, Holocaust Memorial Day and Scottish Women Composers Day. He also took part in the Celtic Connections Festival in 2023 and is a member of the chamber group Georgian Chamber Soloist. In 2024 he became a scholarship holder of the Toradze International Music Festival after a masterclass organised by Moises Molina. He performs with solo programmes as well as chamber ensembles and orchestras.
