Elements of folk and world music, human voices reminiscent of birds and cranes' voices reminiscent of people singing.
Archaic sutartinės and electronica, enchanting kanklas and experiments will merge into one meditative fusion, awakening you out of your hibernation.
__________
The idea of the event was inspired by a stand about birds in Vilnius Sapiegas Park, where after reading about a particular bird you can listen to its song. This is how the idea of expanding and interpreting one of the oldest themes - birds' voices in music - in a modern way was born.
This theatrical musical action will combine old cultural forms (sutartines), authentic folk songs and canticle music, and the unique imitation of birds' voices with modern artistic forms of artistic expression - improvisation, rhythmics and electronics.
Along with the ŪTARA group of sutartinės singers, the performers will include cancanist, educator, singer, member of the group Sen Svaja Agota Zdanavičiūtė, multi-instrumentalist, composer, trombonist, jazz musician Skirmantas Sasnauskas, and composer, drummer and producer Adas Gecevičius.
