"Cinderella" - the legendary interactive fairy tale of the Vilnius Polish Theater "Studija" returns to the stage of the Vilnius Polish House of Culture.
"Cinderella" is the most famous fairy tale in the world about the fate of a girl who was abused by her stepmother and stepsisters. The performance of Vilnius Polish Theater "Studio" combines modernity with the classical charm of Charles Perrault's work. Cinderella is a classic fairy tale that has always been very popular. The secret of this success lies in the universal message that kindness and modesty are always rewarded. By revealing the noble attitude of the main character, this tale helps children understand that it is worth being good, even when you are not the first and most important. Great music, beautiful costumes and special effects complete this amazing spectacle.
In 1967, Charles Perrault in his fairy tale reveals the story of desperate stepsisters who are preparing for a feast in the prince's palace. Merciful godmother, a mysterious fairy, observing a painful injustice, uses magic and enchants the sad Cinderella, decorating her with a sparkling dress and sparkling crystal shoes. But the fairy tells her to leave the party before midnight. However, the Prince is not fascinated by the sisters, but by the beauty and mystery of Cinderella. But as she rushes home, Cinderella carelessly loses one slipper. The prince decides to search the entire kingdom for the unknown girl, measuring the crystal slipper on each girl's foot until he finally finds Cinderella. She not only becomes the prince's wife, but also creates prosperity for her sisters.
Perrault's tale ends with even two strong morals. The first teaches that the virtue of good behavior, which the godmother imparted to Cinderella, is more important than physical beauty. The second moral emphasizes that neither physical nor spiritual qualities are sufficient to achieve a better destiny if we do not have the powerful guardianship of godparents.
