In the exhibition "Continuous Movement", Mr Sidars presents the "golden core" of his ideas and the materials he uses. All these materials have become ingrained in his creative experiments and have given the artist immense possibilities for transformation. These include peat pots, hot glue, variations with fractals of crow droppings. Digital printmaking combined with painting consolidates his status as an independent explorer of new techniques and technologies. Mr Sidars' innovative solutions, such as the use of peat structures, deserve to be patented as his unique trademark. As symbolised by the title of the exhibition, "Continuous Movement", Mr Sidars also demonstrates here the breadth of his artistic range. The exhibition's central motif is the artist's ability to move with the times and his courage to re-evaluate his previous works in the light of their probable future development and transformation. By analysing how plastic fits into his creative environment, the artist not only preserves its materiality, but also gives it an innovative form, additional meanings and transforms these objects into something completely new. The exhibition will be on view at the Klaipėda Gallery of the Klaipėda Branch of the LDS (Bažnyčių g. 6) until 7 September.
