In a Galician mansion, Mr Jovialski, who has a little taste for science, practices a kind of good-humoured terror. He loves poetry, plays and moral deductions. In the face of warfare, Mr Jovialski boldly expresses his views on the preservation of his mother tongue, culture and other values.
