For several years before his death, composer Ryuichi Sakamoto was unable to perform live. However, at the end of 2022, he gathered all his strength to leave the world with one last performance - a concert film featuring just him and the piano. The concert begins in the early morning light as Sakamoto takes the stage. As the day dawns, the pieces he chooses to perform in his own order reflect his entire career, from his pop stardom in the Yellow Magic Orchestra to the stunning soundtracks of Bertolucci's films on his latest album, 12". This is not just a concert, it is a meditation on time and creativity, and a farewell to one of Japan's greatest music makers.
