Selah Collective is an ensemble that combines original Mediterranean jazz with authentic global influences. Based in Israel, the group's music draws inspiration from artists such as Avishai Cohen, Ibrahim Maalouf, Snarky Puppy and others. Their full album Belonging, released in January 2019, includes 8 original compositions. The group performs regularly in Israel and Europe, collaborating with local and international musical guests.
Exclusive performances include Kaunas Jazz Festival (2019), Ashdod Jazz Series Klang (2019) and Divercities Festival in Grenoble, France (2018). Following the return of live music, Selah Collective continues to perform in Europe and Israel, with two tours per year, and a seventh European tour in spring 2025.
The group's musical style blends jazz, fusion and world music, incorporating African, Latin and classical influences into its sound. Their repertoire ranges from calm compositions suitable for intimate events to energetic improvisations that can inspire you to dance a big crowd. Depending on the venue and the nature of the event, Selah Collective adapts their performance to create a variety of dynamics and moods, whether it's a small jazz club, a medium-sized venue or a large outdoor concert.
