One of the best pianists of today, Andrey Gugnin is already well-known to Vilnius audiences. The festival "Christmas Evenings" gave two unforgettable concerts to piano music lovers who are looking forward to a new encounter with this critically acclaimed musician.
Gina Bachauer Winner of the Salt Lake City Piano Competition (USA, 2014), Gold Medal and Audience Award), winner of the S. Stančič Competition in Zagreb (Croatia, 2011) and the L. van Beethoven Competition in Vienna (Austria, 2013). In 2016 Andrey Gugnin triumphed at the International Piano Competition in Sydney, where he was awarded first prize and several special prizes. He has performed with the London Philharmonic, the Sydney Symphony, the Netherlands Symphony, the Salzburg Camerata and others. He has collaborated with renowned conductors such as Daniil Raiskin, Lui Langre, Reinbert de Lju, J. Van Zveden, Dimitris Botinis and Stanislav Kochanovsky. He has performed in more than 30 countries, in the most famous venues: the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Festival Hall in London, Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Golden Musikverein in Vienna, the Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City, the Sydney Opera House, and the Louvre Concert Hall in Paris. He has been a participant of the Verbier Festival in Switzerland, the Rure Festival in Germany, the Ohrid Summer Festival in Macedonia, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival in Croatia, the Malta Festival, the Aberdeen Festival in Scotland, the Bermuda Festival, and many others. He has released CDs with Pianoclassics (an album of all List's transcendental etudes was awarded Editor's Choice by the renowned Gramophone Magazine), Delos, Steinway & Sons, Hyperion Records.
