A Technological-Anarchist Approach to Object Theatre
Using homemade analogue technical devices, the performance critically evaluates technological progress, the marketing success model and the stereotypes that dominate the relationship between man and machine. A central theme of the narrative on technology is the often assumed competitive advantage of the machine for its user. There is a constant race to outdo others with better technology. Inferior machines made in a DIY way voluntarily withdraw from the game. Machines, whose technical principle has long played its role in the process of progress, have meaning and function only in the context of a specific work of art. The owners of the giant technological corporations that run the world have no influence here.
