Urtė Jasenka's one-painting exhibition, made up of many small pictures - miniatures, tells the story of a different kind of fullness. A state that is not focused on the goal, but on the process of achieving it, on the experiences, thoughts and feelings that come with it. The artist also analyses the value of a person, which is not determined by numbers or achievements, but by how satisfied he is with himself, how much and how sincerely he has enjoyed and felt the time, work and experiences he has been given, whether he has been inspired, how courageously and lovingly he has taken life's steps and with what kind of fire burns in his heart. The miniature paintings show the playfulness of a man's first days, the lightness of youth, and the "weight" of a man growing, becoming fuller, overtaken by time and experience - old age, which envelops and accompanies him to the last point - death. The fragments of the painting metaphorically depict the motif of a man climbing a mountain. The artist invites us to read the painting like a book, to watch it like a silent film and to follow the journey from the beginning to the end, to search for different goals, endings and meanings of the climb to the top. The artist's hand- and time-smoothed miniatures create an unexpected, vivid terrain, which slowly changes with each day of the painting's life. The drawings curl, the paper changes structure, and the wooden frame cracks - it ages. Every stroke experienced on this journey or the gentle gaze of the viewer together creates this unique "Story of a painting".
