Lithuanian pianist Elžbieta Liepa Dvarionaitė was born in 2001 in Vilnius. From the age of six she studied at the National M.K.Čiurlionis School of Arts with Vaida Kirvelytė, and later in the special piano class of Albina Šikšniūtė. Elžbieta is a laureate of many national and international competitions. In March 2022, she was awarded 1st prize at the Stasys Vainiūnas International Piano Competition, and in February 2023 she won second prize at the Piano Neuchâtel - Val de Travers International Piano Competition in Switzerland. She also won first prizes in Antonin (Poland) - in the monographic Chopin competition "Chopin dla najmlodszych" (2013), Riga - in the Riga international piano competition (2013), Usti nad Labem (Czech Republic) - in the Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte (2016), and was awarded the Grand Prix in the Republican Competition VIII "J.In 2019, she won first prizes at the Republican Competition "Lisztofonija" in Vilnius and "Ville de Gagny" in France, where she was also awarded two special prizes for the best performance of J.S.Bach and for excellence. E.L.Dvarionaitė has given concerts with almost all Lithuanian orchestras, as well as with the Riga, Tallinn, Czech Republic's "Virtuosi Brunensis", the symphony orchestra of the National M.K.Čiurlionis School of Arts, and the LAMT Symphony Orchestra. He has studied with Y. Bronfman, P. Geniuš, R. Plano, D. Bashkirov, N. Seriogina, P. Nersessian and others. In January 2019, Elžbieta took part in the Winter Piano Academy "Feuerwerk" in Einbeck, led by pianist Gintaras Januševičius. In March 2018, the pianist was awarded the St. Christopher's Statuette for her musical achievements and for promoting the city of Vilnius.
Elžbieta is currently studying at the University of Music and Theatre in Vienna, in the class of Professor Anna Malikova.
