"Medynės" is a unique music festival that has been enriching the Lithuanian musical landscape since 2015. It is the only international festival in Europe dedicated to the popularisation and actualisation of a special group of musical instruments - woodwinds - and their professional performance of a wide range of music, covering a very broad spectrum of genres (from folklore, early music to experimental 21st century musical variations).

Conceived by Darius Klišis, the festival has become an annual autumn highlight in Marijampolė, attracting music performers and enthusiasts from all over the world.

Supported by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and the Municipality of Marijampolė, each year Medynės presents its listeners with new musical experiences and unforgettable impressions.
