The mission of the Plartforma International Arts Festival is to bring together the artistic experience and creative potential of creators from different countries in a common creative process. The festival presents contemporary dance and theatre, new circus, performance, music and sound art artists and groups. It is the only interdisciplinary festival in Klaipėda and Western Lithuania, which, in addition to its cultural function, also has an educational function - it introduces and educates the audience to understand and appreciate contemporary artistic expressions.
"Plartforma" is a long-standing and representative festival of the city of Klaipėda, and has been a part of Klaipėda's cultural life since 2015.
The festival is organized by the Artists Group "Žuvies akis" and financed by the Lithuanian Council for Culture, the municipalities of Klaipėda city and district.
