In the dance performance "Verpete", Erik Eriksson and Krišjānis Sants weave space, music and audience into an intimate, swirling dance of balance and trust. The audience is invited into a world where the very sense of time and space seems to boil and dissolve in movement.

, "Vērpete" (liet. In "Vērpet", the creators and performers Erik Eriksson and Krišjānis Sants start with the movement of a rotating couple in space, more familiar in games, folk and sports dances. The performers, twirling hand in hand, transform a familiar movement into a precise, fast, confident dance. "Vērpete" is accompanied by live vibraphone and guitar music, creating an enveloping soundscape. The audience shares the same space with the performers, many of whom have described their experience as being surrounded by a force of nature or an element perceived with the body rather than the mind.
Performance Vērpete premiered at the 2015 Homo Novus International Festival of Contemporary Theatre and has been critically acclaimed by both critics and audiences alike, including in 2016.
