The contemporary music festival "Iš arti" has long become an integral part of Kaunas cultural scene, and every autumn is unthinkable without the sounds of contemporary music. This November, the contemporary music festival "Iš arti", in collaboration with Kaunas State Philharmonic, Kaunas Artists' House and the Oak Library, will hold five concerts. On 11 November, the Kaunas State Philharmonic will host a concert by the contemporary music ensembles Twenty Fingers Duo (Lithuania) and GBSR Duo (United Kingdom) as part of the international artists' residency "Among Silence". On 12 November, music lovers will be entertained by Duo Andersson - violinist Julija Ivanovaitė and pianist Paulius Andersson (at Kaunas State Philharmonic) with the contemporary music programme "Acoustic Dances". On 14 November, Kaunas Artists' House will host the programme "Fusion" - the singing of world-renowned unique sutartnias, fused with electronic music, together with Arnis Aleinikov and the group of sutartnias singers, the ensemble Kadujo. On 15 November, the festival premiere of Zita Bružaitė's choreographic painting about four biblical women "4 | Women" (at the Oak Library). On 16 November, the Kaunas State Philharmonic will close the festival with two premieres by Lithuanian composers, together with the VMU Chamber Orchestra conducted by Karolis Variakojo and pianist Monika Lozinskiene.
