About the Association Founded by two prominent Lithuanian music and art luminaries - Robertas Beinaris, assistant professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music, oboist, and Vaida Striaupaitė-Beinarienė, composer - the Association "Muzikos Idėjos" is one of the most active and innovative promoters of musical life in Lithuania. The Association founded the Lithuanian Oboe Championship, the International Oboe Competition in the name of Liutauras Vėbra and the International Chamber Ensemble Competition "Muzikinė akvarelė", contributing to the education of young musicians and the promotion of the art of music in Lithuania and abroad. Contribution of Robertas Beinaris Robertas Beinaris, a renowned Lithuanian oboist, has nurtured many talented musicians through his musical activities and pedagogical work.
