We want the Toy Museum to be a place where the latest museum trends are reflected and the child becomes an important participant in cultural activities. Although children have been talked about in museums around the world since the end of the 19th century, it has taken a long time for museums to involve them and to adapt to their young visitors. Visitors still have questions about whether it is worth going to a museum with their child, whether there will be something to do and whether museums are suitable for children from the age of 5.
We hope that museums in Lithuania will appreciate the importance of including young visitors in museum activities at an early age, and of providing opportunities for families to explore and learn together. At the same time, we want to encourage families themselves to be more adventurous in visiting museums, even with their youngest children. If you yourself are curious, if you are interested in a topic, you will certainly be able to spend your family time in a useful way, commenting and learning from each other. Any outing together will enhance the family experience and be a wonderful memory for the children.
