In December, Šiauliai, as well as all over Lithuania, traditionally hosts many festive concerts and events dedicated to Christmas and New Year celebrations. Although I don't have specific details of this year's events, here's a taste of what you can expect: 
 

Christmas concerts in churches and concert halls. These concerts often feature traditional Christmas songs, sacred music, as well as festive works by contemporary composers. 

Festive concerts organised by the city, featuring local music school groups, professional performers and bands. These can take place in public spaces such as town squares or cultural centres. 

New Year's Eve concerts and parties taking place on 31 December. These events are a great opportunity to say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new year with music and dancing. 

Chamber music evenings in smaller spaces such as galleries, art factories or cultural houses. This can be a great opportunity to hear acoustic music and chamber performances in a more intimate setting. 

Jazz and pop concerts in local clubs and bars that offer a relaxing way to enjoy live music on a cold December evening.
