In November, Šiauliai, like the rest of Lithuania, hosts a variety of concerts and musical events that reflect the city's cultural life. 
 

The Šiauliai State Philharmonic and other cultural institutions usually host classical music concerts. Both Lithuanian and international symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, soloists and choirs can perform here. 

Jazz concerts can take place in clubs and bar venues, where jazz musicians perform both traditional and modern pieces. 
Popular music concerts can take place in various venues around the city, attracting well-known Lithuanian and international artists. 

Theatrical concerts and musical performances combining music, dance and drama can take place in theatres and cultural centres. 

Alternative music concerts, especially performances by independent artists and bands, can take place in art factories, cultural centres or other non-traditional spaces. 

University and college communities can organise a variety of musical events featuring both student bands and invited guests.
