The Partisan Park of the Great Struggle District is located in the picturesque confluence of three rivers - the Šventoji, Mūšia and Siesarties - near the national road Ukmergė - Utena, in the 6th kilometre. The 70 hectares of the park's territory are carved by the meanders of the rivers, and the steep slopes turn into river valleys connected by pine forests.
In 1993, the park was started on the initiative of Monsignor Alfonsas Svarinskis. During the period 1993-2003, the Stations of the Cross with 14 ornamental oak crosses were erected, dedicated to each battalion of the Partisans of the Great Struggle District and to the commanders of the District. In addition to the signs commemorating the Freedom Struggle, other crosses have been erected throughout the territory of the park at the initiative of Monsignor A. Svarinskas: "To the Resurrection of Lithuania", "To All Those Who Died for Lithuania's Freedom", to Pope John Paul II, and so on.
In 2018, thanks to a public initiative, a memorial to the seventeen fallen ministers of the First Republic of Lithuania (1918-1940) was unveiled in the Partisans' Park of the Great Struggle District.
