What will you find here?
The main factors that have shaped Lithuania's history and culture are presented in the following themes:Creation, Beliefs, Struggles, Fractures, Global Connections, and Orients. Each theme is presented in its own exhibition hall and covers key events and phenomena from ancient times to the present day. Between a dozen and a dozen or so concise stories in each theme reflect the country's experience. The aim is to geographically cover the ever-changing space of Lithuanian history, focusing more on the core of the country.
The main exposition of the House of the Miller is complemented by a story in the cellars about the craft of the Miller, sawmilling, accent-making, and the history of Vilnius 200 years ago.
