A church in Vilnius. Services are held only in Ukrainian. Next to it is a monumental Renaissance bell tower with a square plan, and the entrance to the monastery courtyard is through a magnificent Baroque gate designed by Christopher Glaubic.
The wooden Orthodox Orthodox Church was built in 1347. The present stone church was founded in 1514 by Constantine of Ostrog after his famous victory in the Battle of Orsha. In the 16th century it was handed over to the Unitarian Basilians. In 1821 it was closed and an Orthodox seminary was established, which was handed over to the Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul in 1919. It was transferred to the Catholic St. Vincent de Paul Society. It was closed during the Soviet period, 1940-1991, and then transferred to the Greek Rite Catholic (Unitarian) community.
