Born in 1969 in Molėtai. In 1991 he graduated from the Lithuanian State Conservatoire of Acting (now the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre; course directors - D. Tamulevičiūtė and A. Latėnas). 1991-1993 - actor at the North Athens Theatre, 1993-2007 - actor at the State Youth Theatre, currently a freelance artist. Kazlas has also created roles in television, cinema, Lithuanian and Kaunas National Drama Theatres, "Meno Fortas", and has directed performances at Vilnius "Lėlė" Theatre and the State Youth Theatre.

2008 Golden Stage Cross (Best Dramatic Actor) for the role of Napoleon Shereika in the comedy "Patriots" by Petras Vaičiūnas and the role of Angelo in William Shakespeare's comedy "If This Is the Way, This Is the Way";
2008 Lithuanian Theatre Spring Festival Best Role on the Big Stage (audience opinion) for the role of Napoleon Shereika in the play Patriots;
2009 Lithuanian Theatre Spring Festival Best Small Stage Director (opinion of the audience and the jury) for the mono-play "Iron and Silver";
2009 Lithuanian National Prize for Culture and Art "For the tragic and comic harmonies of theatre, for creative principality";
2010 Kaunas Professional Theatre Creators' Award "Fortuna" for creative partnership with actor Lyubomir Laucevitis in the performance based on Anton Chekhov's works "Palata";
2014 Medal of the Order of Merit for Lithuania. "Lithuanian theatre, film and television actor, director, promoter of the classics of Lithuanian literature";
2014 Lithuanian Theatre Spring Festival (Kaunas) award "For the role of the poet" in the play "Not according to the fashion of this world" (Vilnius Lėlė Theatre);
2019 Dalia Tamulevičiūtė Professional Theatre Festival nomination "Best Actor in a Supporting Role" for the role of Pastor Gregorius in Vilnius Lėlė Theatre's "Doctor Glass" (directed by Rolandas Kazlas).
