In 1969-1972, he studied at the Panevėžys theater studio directed by Juoz Miltinis. In 1972-1976, he worked at the Panevėžys Drama Theater. In 1976-1980, he studied at the faculties of the Lithuanian State Conservatory in Klaipėda (course manager Povilas Gaidys). From 1977 to 1990, he worked at the Klaipėda Drama Theater. Since 1990, he has been creating at the Kaunas Drama Theater. In 2003, he obtained a master's degree in andragogy in the field of theater education at Vytautas the Great University. For many years, he has been leading the theater studio of Kaunas "Saulės" high school
