She was born on 26 July 1957 and graduated from secondary school in Palanga in 1975. In 1975-1979 she studied acting at the State Conservatory (today - Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre) (Dalia Tamulevičiūtė and Irena Bučienė were the course leaders). A. Grybauskaitė has been working at Vilnius Lėlė Theatre since 1979.
Awards:
A. Gricius won the Best Actress award at the International Puppet Theatre Festival "Aitvaras 2009" (Alytus) for the role of Sara Dolitlytė in A. Gricius' DAKTARAS DOLITLIS, based on the books by H. Lofting (dir. R. Driežis).
In 1995, at the International Film Festival "The Baltic Pearl", she was awarded the Best Actress for the role of Maria in the film "And He Said Goodbye to You" (dir. by A. Šiusa), and received a diploma and a gold badge.
1987 - "Playing for the Workers" Theatre Festival (Kaunas) for the role of Marcolfa in F. G. Lorca's DON CHRISTOBALIO BALAGANELI. She was awarded the Best Actress award for her performance in the film Don Perlympino's Love (directed by V. Mazūras).
