The brothers Jakob and Wilhelm are usually inseparable and are called the Brothers Grimm.
Jakob Grimm formulated and studied a law that was named after him - Grimm's law. Wrote an etymological dictionary of the German language - "German Dictionary" (German: Deutsches Wörterbuch) and a scientific work - "German Mythology" (German: Deutsche Mythologie).
