Born on 31 October 1972 in Vilnius.
Graduated from Vilnius 22nd Secondary School (now Mikalojaus Daukšos) in 1990, Bachelor of Philosophy in 1994, Master of Philosophy in 1996 at Vilnius University, and Doctoral studies at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, School of Social Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences in 2002. In 2004 he defended his PhD in Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Writes poems. He translates poetry, prose, essays, journalism, literature in the humanities, mainly from Polish, but also from Ukrainian and other East-Central European languages. Collaborates with the publications "Literatūra ir menas", "Naujasis židinys", bernardinai.lt and others. He has published his works and translations in various collections, almanacs, anthologies in Lithuania and abroad, and his works have been translated into English, Belarusian, Hebrew, Polish, Slovenian.
One of the coordinators of the international community of artists "Magnus Ducatus Poesis". In 2014, he chaired the Lithuanian-Belarusian and 2015 Lithuanian-Ukrainian translators' workshops organised by the Literary Translators' Union.
