Biography
Born on February 7, 1973 in Slabadėlės village, Alytus district.
In 1991 graduated from Daugai secondary school. In 1995 graduated from Vilnius University, Faculty of Philology, where he studied Lithuanian language and literature. In 2000, he conceived and still organises a gathering of non-professional artists called "Maskoliškės Art Front". He founded the "Barn Gallery" in the natural space of a former barn. Photographs outdoor latrines, dog kennels and ladders. He has held several conceptual photography exhibitions "Philosophical Huts - Latrines". Member of the group "Sintezija", which promotes experimental audiovisual poetry. Participates in readings in Lithuania and abroad (participated in literary events in Austria, Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia, Belarus, Latvia, France).
He has published poems, critical articles and reviews in the cultural press, and his poetry has been included in various almanacs and anthologies ("Poezijos pavasaris", "Poetic Autumn of Druskininkai", "Winter Words" etc.). His work has been translated into English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Latvian, Polish and other languages. Lives in Vilnius.
