In 1997 graduated from Vilkaviskis "Aušra" Secondary School. In 2002 he graduated from Vilnius Pedagogical University (now the Lithuanian University of Education) with a Bachelor's degree in Lithuanian Studies. Currently, she works as a teacher of Lithuanian language and literature at Pilviškių "Santaka" gymnasium.
Her first novels were published in 1998 and 1999 in "Metų" magazine. Novels and essays are regularly published in "Šiaurės Atėnai". In "Literatura ir mene", "Nemunas", "Metų". Book reviews and book reviews have been published in "Ziemeļ Atėnai". More than 30 publications (reviews, essays, novellas) were published in the periodical in 2005-2015.
In 2014, in the first Lithuanian teenage and young adult literature competition organised by Alma Littera, the jury decided that her novel "Experimentas gyventi" was one of the three winners of the competition. In 2015, the novel was nominated for Book of the Year 2015.
In 2016, she again took part in the Alma Littera Publishing House's Teen and Young Adult Literature Competition. The novel "And Once, Richie" was chosen as the best book of the 2016 Teen and Young Adult Contest.
