Born on 10.10.1948 in Pesliai, Anykščiai district.
1955-1966 - studied at Jonas Biliūnas Secondary School in Anykščiai, 1971 - graduated from Lithuanian language and
Literature at Vilnius University. From 1970 to 1997 he held various positions in the magazine "Jaunimo gretos",
"In the 1970s and 1970s, he worked for the newspapers "Vilniaus tribūna", "Lietuvos Jeruzalem", "Pozicija",
"Anykšta".
In 1981-1983 he was the head of the Vilnius Young Writers' Section, and during the Revival period he was the head of the Writers'
During the Revival period, he was a member of the Publicity Commission of the Union of Lithuanian Writers, and wrote extensively on current affairs of that time.
In 1995, he published the first book by a Lithuanian author during the period of independence on Lithuanian and Jewish
relations and the Holocaust "Do not turn away from yourself".
