Lithuanian singer (lyrical coloratura soprano). 1923-1930 studied singing with V. Grigaitienė at the Kaunas Music School, composition with J. Gruodis. 1932-1934 Interned at St. Rome Cecilia Academy with E. Gibod.
1930 debuted at the State Theater (Violeta, Giuseppe Verdi. Traviata), sang there until 1944. in 1944 moved to the West, one of the organizers and soloists of the Detmold Lithuanian Exile Opera. in 1948 settled in Canada. He performed in Montreal, Toronto, Hamilton, Winnipeg, Chicago, Cleveland, Boston, Rochester, New York. in 1949 Established a music studio in Montreal (singing, piano, music theory). In total, he sang in 22 operas in about 600 performances.
