Born 19 08 1941 in Akmenė. 1961-1963 photocorrespondent of the weekly Literature and Art, 1963-1967 photocorrespondent of the magazine Our Nature, from 1967 editor of the illustrations department of the magazine Nemunas. Since 1970 member of the Lithuanian Photographers' Union.
