Biography
1980-1987 performed with the ensemble "Oktava", 1989-1992. with saxophonist P. Vyšniauskas (duet "Petrarka"; released the first Lithuanian CD in 1989), since 1993 with the trio of G. Abariaus, with the trio "Allions" (Viačeslavas Ganelinas, P. Vyšniauskas and A. Gotesmanas). Played with such musicians as percussionist Chin Gito (1985 Cuba), Fredis Studer, saxophonist John Zorn (1994 Jerusalem), trumpeter K. Tranbergas (1999 Copenhagen), Dainius Pulauskas Sextet, Kaunas Big Band, D. Geringo trio (EXPO – 2000 Hanover), Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra.
Author and performer of musical theater projects ("Station in N mieste", with actress D. Michelevičiūta and artist L. Liandzbergi, 1999). in 1999 founded the ensemble "European Lucern Duo" with the composer H. Raduleska. He gave solo concerts (Soloing Faces, with St. Christopher's Chamber Orchestra, Percussion Sonata, both in 1998, Intellectual Dances in 1999). Created a composition in memory of Josif Brodsky (2002). He toured in many countries, participated in about 50 festivals (Europe, Africa, Cuba, China), filmed, created music for movies (part of the music for the film "Invincible" directed by V. Herzog, 2001).
