Dmitri Lvovich Klebanov was a Russian composer and pedagogue. He was born in 1907 in a rural area of the Kursk Governorate. His musical compositions include symphonic poems, symphonies, concertos, and a plethora of chamber music. After finishing school, Dmitriy played the violin and became acquainted with music theory. He began studying music at the St. Petersburg Conservatory where he also took up teaching. Klebanov also composed music for films and theatre. He died in Moscow in 1986.
